Dancan's line of Appaloosas

Three horses of the Dancan's line of appaloosas were exported to Denmark in 1976.  They  were used to  help resurrect the Knabstrupper Horse.  The Knabstrupper is a Danish warmblood that exhibits appaloosa colour patterns. You will find at least three individuals with the Dancan's prefix in the Knabstrupper Studbook. We have, here at the farm, a couple of rescued appaloosa mares from the Dancan's line.  Some of the horses in the Dancan's  pedigrees  go back to the first horse recorded in the Canadian Appaloosa Horse Club. Because the rescued mares had no paperwork...the offspring are unregisterable in the Appaloosa Horse Clubs.
